We are proud to have secured the Wolverton Cemetery Expansion project, commissioned by Milton Keynes Council.
This project involves the sensitive and carefully planned expansion of an existing cemetery, delivering high-quality civil engineering, landscaping, drainage, and associated infrastructure works. The scheme has been developed to meet long-term community needs while respecting the historical, environmental, and ecological context of the site.
Our scope of works includes:

Construction of new cemetery infrastructure and access arrangements

Extensive civil engineering and drainage works delivered in accordance with approved designs

Installation of 640m² of permeable tarmac, 815m² of impermeable tarmac, and a 420m² concrete service yard

Construction of around 1,750 metres of deep drainage, supporting long-term site performance and flood resilience

Delivery of approximately 9,800m² of Earthworks with hard and soft landscaping, enhancing the appearance, usability, and environmental value of the site

Full compliance with planning conditions, ecological requirements, and environmental safeguards

Delivery in line with detailed specifications, surveys, and manufacturer guidance to ensure quality, durability, and sustainability
The project is being delivered in accordance with an extensive suite of technical documentation, including planning approvals, ecological assessments, arboricultural surveys, archaeological considerations, flood risk assessments, and hydrological studies. This ensures that all works are undertaken responsibly, safely, and in full compliance with statutory and environmental requirements.
